Hey what’s going on! I know I’ve neglected you guys for awhile, but I’m back on it I promise I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was great, I know mine was! Can’t beat good times with family and great food! I’ve kept my pjism under control this month so I didn’t partake in any Black Friday sales or Cyber Monday. I’m so proud of myself!!! LOL Slowly but surely I’m working through my current stash of products. I decided not to indulge in the buy 2 get 1 free at Sally’s for the One N’ Only Argan Oil brand that I love so much I have crap I need to finish and that’s exactly what I intend to do! I’m sticking to it!!
I had just enough for one last application. I love when I finish a product lol but anywho…from what I can remember it wasn’t all that. Didn’t have much slip and it was semi-moisturizing. I purchased mine through CurlMart. For 18.50 I was disappointed. I will not repurchase. I glanced at the ingredients while in the shower (my DC usually have enough slip where I can apply it out the shower, not with this stuff) and I noticed witch hazel :-/ Not too sure about the benefits of witch hazel for hair. I use it daily for my face, I’ll have to look into that. I will give the maker of BB credit. The ingredients are great but I haven’t been won over with this line. I’m also in the process of finishing BB Curl Styling Butter.
Both products were in 8oz jars. The styling butter was $21.00 I’ve tried it for wash n gos, twist outs, and braidouts. It works ok. I have others that work better and are available on ground and for a cheaper price. The butter did give definition but not a good enough hold. Hair was soft though. Not too crazy about the smell..I can’t place my finger on it. Kinda reminds me of a cake batter but artificial.
Before applying the BB Curl Quenching condish I did a prepoo with EVOO and EVCO. I usually add a cheap condish but….since I ran out I used the oil only method. It never really worked for me before on dry hair. I got better results when I spritzed with plain h20. I prepood for about 30mins. While still in twist (8) I shampoo’d with Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa Moisturizing Shampoo diluted in a applicator bottle. I only put the poo on my scalp and let the suds run down the twist. Rinsed (still in twist). Then unraveled each twist one by one to apply the conditioner. The jar says you could use it for daily use but eerr umm for that price I don’t think so…
I want to try a Aloe Vera Juice rinse tonight for the first time. I’ll let you know how that goes because Apple Cider Vinegar is kinda stinky lol even when I add argan oil.
It seems on a DAILY basis I run into girls asking how did you get your hair like that? Or, what are you using? Although your hair may not react the same to my current products or regimen it’s always fun to read what other naturals are using The more you know the better right!
Ok here’s the breakdown! *Takes Deep Breath*
Clarify with a SULFATE shampoo once a month. I dilute all shampoos with water and maybe a few drops of EVOO
I always prepoo with a cheapie conditioner like VO5 and vatika oil and evoo.
Protein treatment twice a month, usually on clean hair. Sometimes a homemade mix or whatever product I have on hand. The homemade mixes are a little “stronger” unless I use Aphogee. Always follow with a deep conditioning treatment.
Deep condition on clean damp hair under heat cap for 30min. If I use a homemade DC I ALWAYS add honey.
ACV rince (apple cider vinegar) 2x a month. Usually after doing a protein treatment. I like adding 2-3 drops of argan oil for the smell.
I tend to use cleansing conditioners more at least once a week sometimes twice if I’m experiencing build up or I want to rock a new fresh style. Sometimes I’ll follow with a moisturizing conditoner.
Check out the Chicoro Method; how I apply products.
Oil ends daily using a castor oil based mix, reapply a creamy moisturizer has needed or spritz with a refresher spray(avj, vitamine e,jojoba oil) or plain high quality H2O and seal!
Dust ends as needed
I sleep in a satin scarf and pillow

For some of you purchasing online can be expensive and a hassle! I wanted to do a review on the One N’ Only Line because it works, it’s affordable, and it’s available at your local Sally’s Beauty Supply! The entire month of November Sally’s is having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale on the entire line. Here is what their line consist of:
Restorative Mask (Light Protein)
The price ranges from $8-$10. The smell is DEVINE!!!!! I get soooooo many compliments when I use this line. So far I have used the Restorative Mask (Staple), Oil Treatment (Staple), and the Style Cream. I need to revist the style cream before I give my final verdict if it’s staple status LOL I have no complaints at all!! Sally’s does carry sample sizes of everything (except the style and curl cream). The kicker is that these products contain ARGAN oil, if you’re not familiar with the benefits see the link below. My hair not only smells good but it feels so soft and sheen like nobody’s bizness!!! One N’ Only gets my LEOPARDKISS stamp of approval!!
Hey how is everyone doing on this Friday evening? We have made it through yet another work week. The month of October is just about over! Can you believe how fast this month flew by?? Insane right?! Anywho as promised I have my review of Jane Carter Solution Wrap and Roll!!! Also I will post a video of a random YouTuber that I recommend. The video may be about anything from hair, makeup, fashion, or just something I found interesting and wanted to share with you guys :0) So make sure you check back every week to see who will be featured! Who knows it just may be you!!! ;0) Now for the review!
This product does exactly what it says. It’s a setting foam with a convenient pump that helps for even product distribution. I know some of you out there get quite heavy handed! The smell is similar to the rest of the line, a lemony fresh scent. The smell doesn’t linger. For my flexi rod set (see image below) it provided a soft flexible hold. I’m on day 3 of my flexi rod and it’s holding up nicely. I definitely recommend this product for roller sets. As for wash and gos (wngs) the results weren’t as great. This product can be found at www.curlmart.com or directly from her website (see link below). All in all–JC Wrap n Roll gets my LeopardKiss stamp of approval!
